Terpenes give individual cannabis plants different scents and flavour profiles. We use high quality, FRESH plant material for all our extractions; preserving as many unique terpenes as possible.
When a plant is harvested, the terpenes begin to degrade. The drying and curing process have a devastating effect on the terpenes. Live Resin uses a process by which the plant is flash frozen after harvest to subcritical temperatures. It is kept there throughout the purging process – the difference between varieties being the amount of time allotted for the plant to cure/dry.
What separates live resins from other concentrate products is the elevated terpene content. Most live resins boast a richer terpene profile than normal BHO extracts. In addition to producing a more pungent aroma, higher and more complex terpene profiles can also deliver an elevated psychoactive experience because terpenes can interact with cannabinoids such as THC and CBD.

Such a delicious strain to smoke. I taste creme brulée amidst the earthiness. Nugs are very dense, you could get lost looking at them. The aromas are heavenly. Such high quality is a treat. And wow, the THC level is almost off the charts, but it’s not as troublesome as it would seem. Just a long blanketing of sweetness.

Amazingly grown bud, beautiful with the perfect amount of density/stickiness. Terps were a heavy fresh dough smell, with a slight fruitiness to it. Maybe the smallest hint of citrus on the backend but the dough smell is definitely upfront. I found the potency to be great for this type of strain, I smoked a joint earlier in the day and was actually a little too high which doesn’t happen often for me. Amazing ash and smoke as always from skookum.

The high THC is not stultifying; instead it locks you into the task at hand, whether that is feeling around in the dark or enjoying total stillness. Aroma is a bit cheesy and definitely danky.
